Create a schedule
1. Go to your music in the top menu.
2. Click on schedules.
3. Click + create and give your new schedule a name.
Once you have created a schedule, you can find suggested content and already saved playlists and stations to the left of the schedule. Drag and drop your playlists or stations to the day and time when you want it to play. Remember to schedule the music so that it covers your opening hours. Remove a playlist or station from the schedule by clicking on the slot and then the minus (-) symbol next to its name.
Save your schedule
Remember to save your schedule and press play to listen to your zone right away - click here if you are unsure about how to select and play music to your zone. All your schedules will be available in Your music, in the Schedules section.
Select and play a schedule
You can now play your schedule in one, several, or all zones by clicking into the schedule itself, and choosing the red button 'play' in the top right corner. Select the zones you wish to play the schedule in and click play again. Your schedule will begin playing after the current track is finished.
Good to know
You can mix stations and playlists in the same time slot to create more variation. A song from each will play in a shuffled sequence. If you want to change the order, just click on a time slot and drag the playlists or stations into your preferred order.
The scheduling tool lets you schedule music for a week. Once it has played the full week, it will start over again. If you want to play different music during different weeks, we suggest you create several schedules to alternate between.
The scheduling feature is not available if you use the Sonos player. Alternatively, you can use AirPlay 2 and the Soundtrack Player app from an iOS Device instead of the regular Sonos app. This way, the sound from the iOs will be directly streamed to all Sonos speakers. You can learn more about playing music from Soundtrack with Sonos speakers here.
