You can connect your device to your speakers through AirPlay, Bluetooth, or line-input. If you use an Android device, you can also cast music to your speakers via Google Home.
In addition to this, any iOS, Android, and Windows device that has the Soundtrack Player app can connect to Amazon Alexa and Google Home via Bluetooth. With these systems, you can skip and pause your music but you cannot search for music.
Follow the instructions below to get started.
Bluetooth
- Open your Bluetooth settings on the device you want to use to play music
- Connect to your speakers
- Open the Soundtrack Player app
- Enjoy the music!
Airplay 1
- Connect to the same WiFi network on your iOS device and the speaker that you want to AirPlay to.
- Open the Soundtrack Player app
- Tap on “connect speaker” and pick the speaker from the list
- Music will now play through the speaker
Note that we currently do not support Airplay 2
Line-input
Connect an audio cable to the device you're using to play music. Connect the other end of the cord in your speaker system.
Android and Google Nest
- Install the "Google Home" app from Google Play
- Connect your Android device to the same Wi-Fi network as your Google Home/Nest
- Open the Google Home app
- Navigate to your Google Home/Nest device
- Press Cast my audio
