The default music settings are the default settings of each new zone that you add in your account, and change whenever it suits your business. This will save you time if you are planning on adding multiple zones at once.
The settings include:
- Default music
- Playback
- iOS Remote app - click here for more information about our iOS Remote app.
To update your default settings, simply:
- Log in to your account here.
- Click on your account name in the top-right corner, and then click Account Settings.
- Click New zone default.
- Please note that changes made in these settings will only affect new zones, and not your current ones.
Default music
Your account has a default playlist or station assigned to play when a new zone is activated. You can change which music automatically plays by clicking change music.
Playback
This includes
- Sound setting
- Crossfade
- Download speed
The default sound setting is Stereo, but you can select Mono from the drop-down menu.
When it comes to downloading speed, we support playback with as low as 0.2 Mbps so even if your internet connection is slow, the music won’t steal bandwidth from business-critical systems, such as your cash register.
Remote
You can enable or disable the option to pair the remote application to locations.

Bandwidth limitation
We support playback with as low as 0.2 Mbps so even if your internet connection is slow, the music won’t steal bandwidth from business-critical systems, such as your cash register.
