The Soundtrack Player is a practical solution since it’s a streaming box fully dedicated to our music solution. Here you will find all the information required to order Soundtrack Players.
You must firstly be a registered user on a Soundtrack account with the activate zones permission. If you have a dedicated Deployment Manager, please reach out to him or her for additional instructions. It is also important that you have the setup of your new location in Soundtrack. If you have not done that yet, please follow these instructions before proceeding.
We are currently in the process of building out in-app purchasing of the Soundtrack Player. In the meantime, you can place orders by following the steps below. We send out new batches of Soundtrack players every Tuesday and Thursday.
If you have any configuration for your player, don't forget to speak with your IT team as they may need to review the technical requirements.
If you would like to order just one player or multiple to a single location, please complete this form.
If you would like to order multiple players:
- Download a copy of this template.
- Fill it out. You can refer to this filled-out example for help on how to fill it out correctly.
Note: Even if you are shipping to the same address, you must add one row for every player ordered. If you would like to order 10 players, for example, you must add 10 rows to the template.
- Send the completed form to player orders.
Our Customer Success team will review the template/form.
The players are sent out every Tuesday and Thursday.
Soundtrack Player specifics
13 GB internal memory that holds up to 2 weeks of music.
Plug it into your audio system using an HDMI, 3.5 mm, or optical audio cable.
Remote updates – your device will get the latest software versions via our automatic updates.
The streaming box uses dynamic IP by default. You can easily configure it for static IP.
All cables are included in the package with an installation guide.
What happens with your order?
Our Customer Success team will review the template and your players will be shipped to their chosen locations. Once the players are shipped, you will receive a tracking number and a device ID to help finalize your locations.
Once you have the Device ID you log in to your Soundtrack account and begin pairing your devices to your chosen locations. Don’t forget to activate your subscriptions so that the music will begin playing in-store straight away. A great tip is to have a default Soundtrack set on your account ahead of time so that your new players will automatically play your brand-fit music.
