How to update audio quality settings

With Soundtrack you can choose the audio quality you want to stream. Here’s how:

On your Zone:

1. Log in here.
2. Go to Zones in the top menu.
3. Click on the zone where you want to adjust the audio quality.
4. Click on Settings, the zone is set to stream Standard (96 kbit/s) by default. There are 3 quality levels to choose from. Select the one you prefer:
   
   

   Low: 64 kbit/s (Saves mobile data, works better on unreliable connections, and stores more songs)
   Standard: 96 kbit/s (this is Spotify’s default bitrate on mobile players)
   High: 160 kbit/s (this is Spotify’s default bitrate on desktop)
   

Via your Company settings: 

This is where you edit the default settings applied when a new zone is created.

1. Log in here.
2. Click on the drop-down menu in the top-right corner.
3. Go to Company settings.
4. Under New Zone Defaults, scroll down to Playback.
5. Under Audio quality, this setting is set to stream Standard (96 kbit/s) by default. There are 3 quality levels to choose from. Select the one you prefer:
