What is SAML?
The primary role of SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) in online security is to enable you to access multiple web applications using one set of login credentials. It is often used by larger companies to enable SSO (Single Sign On).
Overview
Once SAML is enabled and configured on your Soundtrack account, all users in your workspace will be required to log in via your identity provider's website. Users created via SAML can only log in to Soundtrack using SAML.
We currently support most identity providers. Here is a list of the most common ones:
- Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)
- Auth0
- Azure Active Directory, now called Microsoft Entra ID (see step-by-step guide)
- Duo Single Sign-On
- Microsoft Entra ID, formerly Azure Active Directory (see step-by-step guide)
- Okta (see step-by-step guide)
- OneLogin
- Ping Identity
- Salesforce
- Generic support for SSO systems that use SAML 2.0
